Polar Bear Adventure — Churchill

Join Steve Taylor, Zoo Director, and immerse yourself in an arctic paradise, the natural habitat of endangered polar bears, on this 7 day adventure. In addition to seeing polar bears up-close, guests will enjoy learning about the history and culture of wildlife and the surrounding villages with trips to Churchill’s Eskimo Museum and the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre. Dog sledding has been an import mode of transportation and sport in Northern Canada for a long time, learn about this unique past-time and have a chance to join the mushers for a ride on their sleds. The Polar Bear Adventure would not be complete without boarding a famed “tundra buggy” for an intimate encounter with polar bears in the wild. Guests will be guided by expert interpreters, exploring the tundra from the safety and warmth of a “tundra buggy.”
