Employee Reports To: Manager of Member and Donor Services 

Job Purpose
The Cleveland Zoological Society, the nonprofit advancement partner for Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Seasonal Member & Donor Services Representative. Position is part-time, weekends May through December.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Engages visitors by selling memberships, special event tickets, membership add-ons, and handle inquiries in person, over the phone and by email.
• Create/update member and donor records in database
• Provide administrative and event support for all Cleveland Zoological Society departments when needed
• Serve as an ambassador for Cleveland Metroparks Zoo 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications, Education and Experience 

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous sales/retail experience, superior customer service philosophy
• Available to work weekends
• Computer experience (data processing experience preferred) 
• Comfortable with various forms of technology, familiarity with smart phones is a plus
• Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and drive a golf cart (Valid Ohio Driver’s License required) 

Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting located at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.  Core working hours 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. generally consist of a 24-hour work week.  Primarily weekends.   

Physical Requirements
Regularly sits at desk or workstation.  Frequently moves around facility to coordinate work.  Reasonable accommodations can be made to employees with qualified disabilities who can perform the essential functions of the job, so long as there is no undue hardship created upon the organization or other employees within the organization.
