The Cleveland Zoological Society is thrilled to announce KeyBank as its presenting sponsor for the 25th annual Twilight at the Zoo.
The Zoo Society is the nonprofit partner of Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Twilight at the Zoo presented by KeyBank is the Zoo Society’s largest fundraiser of the year, routinely drawing more than 6,000 guests to celebrate Cleveland’s vibrant music scene and support the Zoo.
“As Cleveland’s hometown bank, we have a long and deep history with Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, a leading destination in the region. We are thrilled to extend the partnership this year through the Twilight at the Zoo presented by KeyBank,” said Margot Copeland, CEO and chairman of the KeyBank Foundation.
This year’s Twilight will be Friday, August 3, 2018; tickets go on sale June 1, 2018 and proceeds benefit programming at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
“We are so excited to usher in the summer event season with the generous support of KeyBank,” said Cleveland Zoological Society Executive Director Elizabeth Fowler. “Each year, Twilight showcases the Zoo in a unique light to thousands of Clevelanders, who can experience various bands — from old favorites to hot new acts — while knowing that their admission goes to help the exemplary animal care, education programs and conservation work that’s part of the Zoo’s strategic vision and mission. It’s going to be a spectacular year!”
Over its 25 years, Twilight has raised more than $11 million in support of the Zoo. This anniversary year will feature more than 15 bands, a commemorative T-shirt designed by GV Art + Design in Lakewood, an exciting VIP pre-party and the inclusion of Asian Highlands, the Zoo’s new habitat that will open this summer.
KeyBank and the Zoo Society have enjoyed a long partnership. KeyBank has supported educational programming and contributed to capital improvement projects since the 1980s and has twice sponsored the popular KeyBank ZooKeys program through Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The Twilight sponsorship is the bank’s first.
