Help name the Zoo's newest addition to the rhino herd! The Zoo is excited to announce the arrival of a male critically endangered Eastern black rhino calf, born September 13.
This precious calf is already stealing the hearts of the animal care team, bonding behind the scenes with mom Kibibbi, and taking wobbly steps around his indoor habitat.
Each of these names are culturally significant to communities in Eastern black rhinos' wild habitat range. The naming contest ends October 15 and the winning name will be announced on social media shortly after.
