The ZooFutures Heritage Society ensures the Zoo will thrive for generations to come
Each time you renew your Zoo membership or make an annual donation, you are supporting the Zoo’s daily animal care, as well as bolstering its longstanding commitment to securing a future for species in the wild.
The generosity of members and donors are vital to enhancing daily operations and building new spaces like this year’s Daniel Maltz Rhino Reserve. There are many ways to give. The ZooFutures Heritage Society is a celebration of those who wish to create a lasting legacy by remembering the Zoo Society during estate planning.
The ZooFutures Heritage Society, a longstanding program that was revamped in 2019, is open to anyone who invests in the future of the Zoo Society through a planned gift. When you remember the Cleveland Zoological Society in your estate plans, you leave a lasting legacy and ensure that the Zoo and the community it serves will continue to thrive for generations to come.
There are many ways to make such a gift:
- Making a gift to the Cleveland Zoological Society through your will or trust
- Naming the Cleveland Zoological Society as a beneficiary of your IRA or retirement plan
- Making a gift that pays you income (gift annuities or trusts)
- Participating in an IRA Charitable Rollover (for those donors age 70 1/2 years or older)
ZooFutures Heritage Society members receive invitations to special events, an annual private golf cart driving tour, a subscription to Z Magazine and more. And, of course, you may always give and choose to remain anonymous.
