Muppet or Monkey?

This fluffy primate is in fact a white-eared Titi monkey (or Bolivian titi) - a New World monkey native to Bolivia and western Brazil. They are arboreal and rarely seen on the ground in the Amazon Forest basin. Family bonds are strong and consist of monogamous adults and their offspring. Titi monkeys are often seen with their tails entwined - or wrapped together - to reinforce social bonds. Their tails are not prehensil like many other monkeys, so they can not use them to swing from trees. There are about 20 different species of titi monkey - Bolivian Titis and Bolivian Gray Titis are common subspecies.
