Tiger cubs Mila and Sergei became immediate fan favorites with the announcement of their November 6, 2023 birth. More than $8,500 from 604 donations helped choose the cubs' names in support of tiger conservation and combatting illegal wildlife trade.
After making their outdoor debut in late January, guests have been flocking to Rosebrough Tiger Passage to catch play time (or nap time). But can you tell the cubs apart?
We asked the tiger keepers how they know who's that tiger and the answer is right under your nose! (Well, Mila and Sergei's noses).
Both cubs have horizontal stripes near their noses. Look closely and you'll see a difference in the spot patterns around these stripes. Narrow your search down to the spots around the top stripe and you should be able to see the difference as Mila has spots above and below that stripe while Sergei has less.
Next time you're visiting the cubs, use your newfound knowledge to see how fast you can figure out who's that tiger!
