TRUTH!
Sloth bears do not have their front incisors. This gap allows for the bears to suck up ants and termites with ease. The bears will dig a hole with their long curved claws, blow away excess dirt, close their nostrils (to keep the insects out) then suck out the insects through the gap in their front teeth with their lips acting like a vacuum nozzle.
They are noisy when they eat too. Sloth bears are myrmecophagous - meaning a large portion of their diet includes ants and termites. Other myrmecophagous animals include the giant anteater, aardvarks, and armadillos. Make sure to visit Shiva and Balawat this summer in Susie's Bear Hollow!
