Who designs and builds animal habitats at the Zoo? What special considerations do we take into account for species, welfare or husbandry needs? How does it differ from building a new space for humans, and how does guest education or enjoyment factor into the plans? Dr. Christopher Kuhar, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Executive Director, will lead a panel discussion of animal and building experts on designing animal habitats with welfare top of mind.
