At the Cleveland Zoological Society, we are committed to our mission of utilizing philanthropic support to catalyze groundbreaking animal welfare, dynamic guest experience and transformational spaces at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Our ability to fulfill this mission is greatly enhanced by the generosity of our Donors.
These Gift Acceptance Guidelines outline the types of gifts we can accept, the benefits of unrestricted gifts, the handling of restricted gifts, and other essential considerations for prospective Donors. We believe in fostering a collaborative relationship with our Donors. We encourage open communication regarding Donors’ intentions for their gifts. We strive to create a transparent environment that maximizes and celebrates the impact of each contribution.
