Get Ready for Zoo Clues & Brews 2019!
It’s time to get ready for the hunt! Zoo Clues & Brews, presented by Great Lakes Brewing Company, will be even bigger than last year! More than 700 people will be competing for prizes by answering clues throughout the Zoo. Here are some tips to help you prepare:
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Make sure you have your tickets ready! Each team member must have their own unique ticket. The front entrance gates and registration will open at 6 p.m.
Each team will share a Scavify team username, login email, and password. We suggest you meet with your team in the Welcome Plaza to make sure team members have the correct username, login email, and password. Smart phones are required for app use.
After you’re logged in and ready, enjoy appetizers by Driftwood Catering and drinks by Great Lakes Brewing Company in the Palava Hut. Inca Tea and CLEWhiskey are also on site offering samples of their products near African Elephant Crossing. The scavenger hunt begins promptly at 6:45 p.m. when questions are loaded into the app!
DOWNLOAD THE APP - NOW!
Zoo Clues & Brews Scavenger Hunt is done on a smartphone. Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play and search for Scavify to get the free download. Open the Scavify app and search for "Zoo Clues & Brews 2019" at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. You will need to login using the team login email and password that will be emailed to your team captain (the ticket purchaser) the week of the scavenger hunt. Login emails and passwords will also be available the day of the event. Questions will be loaded when the hunt begins. Answers must be submitted through Scavify app on a smartphone. We recommend only having one to two people submitting answers per team to help with network connectivity.
DON'T MISS THE RAFFLE
We've got amazing raffle items: Indians tickets, hotel stay, dinning gift cards and more! Stop by the Palava Hut with cash or credit to get your tickets for a chance to win these generously donated items.
HOW DO I WIN?
You and your team must race to answer the most correct questions before time runs out. Dress comfortably - the Zoo spans 180 acres and most areas will be open for the event, which means lots of walking (or running!). Oh, and don't forget about the team spirit prizes! At the end of the evening, prizes will be announced for the team who has the most points during the hunt and the team with the most spirit. (Think: costumes, custom T-shirts, hashtags and real-time posting on Instagram using #wildaboutCLE. We’ll be watching!)
This is a 21-and-older event; proper ID required. This event is rain or shine. We will have ride sharing stations so please be responsible and take an Uber or Lyft.
